2005 Events...

2005 promises to be a very exciting year for the team!

Steve Blunt and Robert Duck will be contesting the British Rally Championship this year in the Production Cup using the Mitsubushi Evo 6 Group N car.

This will be Steve's first serious assault on the British Rally Championship, and this year he will be concentrating on four wheel drive.

Steve and Bob will supplement the BRC with other selected events - they have already competed on the Riponion finishing 12th overall and in March will take part in the Border Counties Rally before the first BRC event - The Rally of Wales - at the end of April. The Rally of Wales starts and finishes at Dolgellau and covers a total of 110 miles over gravel.

To prepare Steve for the challenge of the BRC, Langworth Motorsport have enlisted the help of former World Gp N Champion, Martin Rowe.

Kate and Paul Heath will be contesting the BRC in their Subaru Impreza, which means that Langworth Motorsport will be running a two car team on all of the British Rally Championship rounds. The Subaru hire car will be running on selected rounds and is available for hire on others. Contact us for details if you are interested.

Kate Heath, the 2002 British Ladies Rally Champion, will be also be working alongside Langworth Mortorsport when they support her in the Women in The HotSeat Rally Challenge this year.

For more information visit the Women in the HotSeat Rally Challenge website.

Kev Perks and Gary Bellis will again be using Langworth Motorsport's Subaru contesting the East Midlands Championship and some selected Subaru Challenge Rounds. Their first event will be at MIRA - a proving ground near Nuneaton. It takes place on 2nd April and covers 55 miles of smooth asphalt.

The Langworth Motorsport team will be attending other rallies throughout the season with customers who prefer to do single events:

Pete Dawson will be driving a Peugeot 205 on his first ever event - the AGBO Stages at Weston Park, Staffs on 13th March. The experienced Gary Bellis will navigate for him on this event

Team Principle Gawaine Clark will be changing direction for his competitive thrills by racing a Honda Hornet in the Superclub Championship. This will be his first year of motorcycle racing.

Jason will be making his 'Forest Four Wheel Drive' debut in the team's Impreza (with a fearful team mate and car owner strapped in alongside him..ouch!)

The Langworth Motorspot team will also be joining forces with Kate Heath to take part in Scrapheap Challenge. Details to follow............................
