Introducing Michael Brew and Breeshey Christian as they prepare to fly high in the year 2001 Peugeot Super 106 Cup.

Michael and Breeshey with their Peugeot 106Michael Brew, 25, comes from a background of working in the Isle Of Man's offshore finance industry. A keen motocross rider from an early age, his interest and enthusiasm for motorsport was almost inevitable as the Isle Of Man is well known for it's unique motorsports history. Although only 70,000 people populate the island, it boasts a wealth of talent in many sporting areas, especially rallying - the 1997 and 1998 British rally champions are both Manxmen, a feat which Michael is absolutely committed to emulating.

Breeshey is also 25 and works on the family farm on the Isle Of Man. She and Michael have competed together as a team since the beginning of their rallying careers. Breeshey is one of the few female participants in rallying to have enjoyed success both as a co-driver and in the driving seat, when she and Michael have swapped roles for local events.

During the past four years Michael and Breeshey have established themselves as one of Britain's top up and coming rally crews. Their rise to prominence has been impressive, starting with local rally success in 1995 and progressing to a full British rally Championship campaign in 1998. Along the way Michael and Breeshey have gained valuable experience in the 1996 BTRDA Rally championship and enjoyed excellent results in the 1997 Peugeot 306 Junior challenge, where class wins and top five overall results were rewarded by second overall in the Championship and Peugeot's coveted 'Hard Charger' Award. Switching to a Honda Civic for 1998, Michael and Breeshey contested the Mobil 1 backed British Rally Championship. Excellent performances throughout the year, including an International class win on the Pirelli Rally, enhanced Michael's reputation as a talented young driver.

The 106 performing well on gravelFor 1999 Michael and Breeshey moved back to competing with Peugeot in the Peugeot Super 106 Cup. This championship offered everything that the team were looking to get from their motorsport; national publicity, close competition, fantastic prizes and Peugeot's unwavering commitment and enthusiasm..Unfortunately, budgetary constraints and the logistical difficulties of living on the Isle Of Man meant that the desired success was not achieved, despite some very promising moments. Michael and Breeshey therefore decided that the only way to succeed in this hard fought championship was to move to Lincoln in order to be as close as possible to their car preparation team , the professional and very experienced Langworth Motorsport Rally Team, with whom they have built an excellent working partnership over the last five years. top

BENEFITS TO SPONSORS

Causing a stir...Most Peugeot Super 106 Cup rounds will be televised. The 1999 Championship received several dedicated programmes on both terrestrial and satellite television. Michael and Breeshey featured strongly in these programmes, giving their sponsors valuable television exposure.

Michael, Breeshey and the Langworth Motorsport Rally Team will contest the year 2000 Network Q Rally of Great Britain. This event is Britain's round of the World Rally Championship and enjoys extensive coverage on both BBC and satellite television, as well as national press. The event also attracts massive crowds; typically two million British Motorsport fans venture into the forests to spectate at what is one of Britain's premiere sporting events.

The name and logo of your company will be shown in a prominent position on the rally car, guaranteeing visual exposure in one of Britains most exiting and accessible sports.

Peugeot Sport will supply editorial coverage of each rally, targeted to both national and local media, from each of the Championship's rounds. They will also send coverage of all drivers to their respective regional television and radio networks.

The Team would be pleased to assist with promotional events. For example, the car can be made available for display and team appearances or demonstrations can be arranged.

Peugeot will give the opportunity for teams to provide corporate entertainment for sponsors on the Peugeot Super 106 Cup Championship rounds.

Michael and Breeshey enjoy extensive coverage in their local press and radio areas, such as professional radio interviews before and after every event.

The costs of competing at this level of motorsport are very high. Michael and Breeshey need financial backing in the form of sponsorship to help them meet these costs and give the best chance of a successful and rewarding season for all involved.
