Kate says:

" I know that loads of women would love to take part in this fantastic sport but they just don't get chance. I hope that the Women in the HotSeat Rally Challenge will find a driver to take the sport by storm. I'll be delighted if they go on to beat me"

The prize will include a competition-ready rally car plus team support for a programme of rallies tailored to suit their own development as a driver.......a stunning prize!!

Although only one driver can win the prize, we aim to ensure that everyone who takes part has a great time and learns new skills.

25th April 2005

Women in The HotSeat was officially launched on 25th April 2005. LMS Roallysport Ltd in conjunction with HotSeat Motorsport ran the first Women In The HotSeat date at Newark Showground recently. The day was a great success, no doubt helped by the good weather we were blessed with. We had a multitude of activities, a rally stage run by Gawaine and Helene on which the times proved to be very close. The stage made of gravel grass and tarmac tested the driving ability of participants to the maximum. Jason conducted his handbrake master class which not only left the ladies entertained but also tired them out with the effort required. Also on the day we had a timed autotest run by Simon Bentley (the latest recruit to the team) and Paul Heath. The scores from all disciplines have added together and placed on the leader board.

Kate says...

"....... It was a real pleasure to see the team in action on Friday doing a fantastic job, and the big grins on people's faces as a result! Thank you so much for all your hard work and support. I really appreciate it, and so did the customers!.............."
